Preventing Medical Errors - 3 CE Hours

Learn why medical errors contribute to high health-care costs and why it's so important to design your work to increase safety for your clients and yourself.

This course describes the problem of injury, including death, from errors in the U.S. health care system. It lays out a comprehensive strategy for addressing these problems to which we are all vulnerable. You will also discover reasons to simplify key work processes and avoid over-reliance on memory and vigilance.

Law & Legal Issues (Florida) - 2 CE Hours

How do codes, laws, rules and regulations affect your practice of massage and bodywork? In this course, you are presented with a detailed view of the laws and rules of the Florida Board of Massage Therapy and how they apply to the massage therapy business.

The course covers chapters 480, 456 and Rule Chapter 64B7 required per the continuing education rules as presented by the Florida Board of Massage Therapy.
