Description

We try our best to satisfy our client's needs, sometimes without realizing the toll it is taking on us. Do you have a few client's that you feel you've given too much time and are having a hard time trying to figure out how to reel it back in?

Through this video-based course you will:

  • Recognize the feelings of boundary crossing to begin to understand when “hazy” time boundaries become uncomfortable.
  • Identify how to reorganize your massage appointments, which may include scheduling longer appointments in general, to accommodate your own massage habits and be fair to their effort and client's time.
  • Learn how to get your boundaries back in line with appropriately scheduled appointment lengths.
  • Discover how to talk with clients about appointment lengths to re-establish the boundaries of starting and ending massage within the agreed time frame.

In just one hour, you'll learn ways to be able to easily implement a healthy change in ethical behavior - boundary re-setting - improving your practice and professional relationships with your clients.

I very much enjoyed this course, as the content is timely for some challenges I'm currently experiencing in my practice. There are several grammatical errors in the written text that accompanies the video, and the single question that was deemed incorrect on my test was answered correctly, so I hope that error is corrected for future students. I very much enjoyed the teacher, the content and the pace of the class, and would have given straight 10's if not for these minor issues. I wish there were more ethics courses like this one that address challenging scenarios that affect most every massage therapist at some point in their career.
